Backend Java Developer Slough / Remote to £80k

Backend Java Developer (Spring TDD CI/CD) *Remote*. Are you a talented Backend Java Developer looking to join a dedicated development team? Do you want to work on complex, client-facing systems and play a key role in the design of collaborative solutions?

You could be joining a successful courier services company that process thousands of shipments per day for a range of clients from start-ups to large blue-chip companies.

As a Backend Java Developer, you'll be designing and developing new TDD Java features for a suite of products including internal portals, customer portals, parcel processing and pricing systems. The company use the latest versions of Java and Spring and frequently release software (3 times per week) meaning you'll rapidly see your work in production. A typical day for you will include engaging with the business to gather requirements, planning and implementing solutions, and delivering high quality code to satisfy internal and external customers.

The company offer a lot of work from home flexibility and will only require you to attend the office in Berkshire 1 day a month.

Requirements:

You have strong modern Java and Spring skills with experience building robust, well-tested code

You must have TDD experience

You are familiar with Agile, Scrum, Pair Programming and CI/CD (Jenkins) environments

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: Eclipse, Junit
