Technical Support Engineer Cambridge / WfH to £33k
Technical Support Engineer (SQL Linux) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you tech savvy and customer focussed, looking for an opportunity to establish your career?
You could be learning and progressing your career at a scale-up technology company that's strategic software solutions enable Energy companies to modernise their networks and achieve increasingly demanding sustainable energy targets.
As a Technical Support Engineer you will gain an in-depth understanding of the platform to provide first line support to clients via phone or email, logging tickets and following issues through to resolution. You'll also get involved with scheduling assets and services, monitoring systems and will have regular contact with clients providing reporting and managing relationships.
There's a supportive team environment where you'll be encouraged to learn and further your technical skills, with regular "hack Fridays" where you can concentrate on personal projects.
Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the Cambridge office twice a week, with the other three days work from home.
Requirements:
You have experience in a similar technical support position
You have a good knowledge of SQL and the Linux command line
You have excellent communication and customer skills
You're bright, keen to learn and quick to assimilate knowledge
You're likely to be degree educated although this isn't essential
