Problem & Incident Manager - Permanent

Glasgow City Centre

As part of the internal Talent Acquisition team at SThree Recruitment, I'm recruiting for a Problem & Incident Manager to work within SThree's Global Head Quarters Shared Services team, based in Glasgow City Centre. SThree are a Global Recruitment organisation that operates in 21 countries, with over 2500 staff worldwide with an annual turnover of £900M.

Problem & Incident Manager Responsibilities:

  • You will co-ordinate and manage a rapid response and permanent resolution to incidents and problems, ensuring that appropriate action is taken to investigate and resolve them, with minimal downtime to systems and services.
  • You will be responsible developing the Incident and Problem Management Processes.
  • You will analyse incidents and problems to show trends, correlation and potential problem areas - so you will be expected to work in a proactive manner.

Problem & Incident Manager Requirements:

  • ITIL Framework experience
  • A solid technical / functional understanding of IT infrastructure and the applications deployed within SThree in order to provide system configuration, audit, technical, and/or functional support.
  • 5 years' experience within a similar role.
