Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Hereford - Remote

£50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Private Healthcare, Pension, Benefits, Income Protection, Life Assurance

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join an established financial services company in a highly technical role offering excellent training opportunities and a great benefits package.

This company has been around for nearly 30 years and provide various financial services to their clients. They work in a number of sectors including Government, Housing, Debt Collection and Utilities to name a few. They are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D Department.

In this role you will be working in the IT Infrastructure team to drive transformational change across Azure cloud services. You will support and govern the Azure environment, focusing on monitoring and automation. And working with the Architects, you'll lead the technical build, deployment and support within the infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, you will have strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, PowerShell and scripting, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server and Active Directory. You will have good experience of Networking (firewalls, routing and switching, VLANS/VPNs etc.) and any experience with Biztalk, YAML, Cloud Security, Cloud Networking and automated deployments with Azure DevOps is advantageous.
