Senior Service Desk Analyst
Office Based - Central London (EC2Y)

As a preferred recruitment partner to one of the world's most trusted banking groups for more than nine years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Senior Service Desk professional to join at AVP level. You will be a senior member of the team and alongside your day-to-day duties you will use your experience to support and mentor junior analysts.
Key Requirements / Expectations
-An experienced Service Desk Analyst able to support and mentor junior team members
-Acting as the 2nd / 3rd line escalation point for service desk team members on Incident Management
-Knowledge of ITSM toolsets, ideally ServiceNow or SBM
-ITIL Understanding (ITIL Certification beneficial)
-Experience in customer focussed IT support roles
-Experience across a range of technologies, systems, and hardware; Windows 10, Windows Hardware, Microsoft Office, Altiris, ServiceNow, Bloomberg, Reuters
-Experience supporting large user bases (ideally 2000+)
-Prior Banking experience and knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters beneficial
Location and Hours (BAU): This is an office-based position requiring you to be on-site five days a week in their London EMEA HQ (EC2Y). This may change to four days in the future (but not guaranteed). The service desk team cover hours from 7am to 7pm. You will be expected to work a variety of shifts including 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm/9am-5pm, and 11am-7pm, in addition to one weekend each month.
