Lead Software Developer London to £85k

Lead Software Developer / Full Stack Engineer (Node.js JavaScript Agile). Are you looking for an impactful role within a highly collaborative, tech driven company? Do you want to work on a wide variety of development projects using a range of modern technologies?

You could be joining a rapidly expanding not-for-profit tech company that help a range of organisations to drive the adoption of advanced technologies across areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and VR.

As a Lead Software Developer, you will be working on a variety of projects for commercial clients testing out the capabilities of new technologies or R&D activities with partners ranging from rapid prototypes to production platforms. You will lead your team from a technical perspective and drive the delivery of projects, co-ordinating across teams, considering diverse requirements, collaborating to resolve differences, and finding solutions when faced with challenges. As a senior member within the team, you will be involved in architecture oversight for projects and will direct on tools, technologies and processes whilst mentoring and developing the engineering team.

Requirements:

You are a talented developer who has a broad technical knowledge using a variety of languages and tools

You have experience doing both frontend and backend development using Node.js and JavaScript

You have previously mentored developers within your team

You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar (2:1 and above)

You must have a real desire to continually learn as you will always be working with new and emerging technologies on many different projects

You are highly collaborative and enjoy working as part of a team

You have worked within Agile environments, working with TDD an

You have exceptional communication skills
