The Role
 
They are now seeking a Global Data Operations Director to work on one of their major pharmaceutical client accounts.  The purpose of the role is designed to lead the Always-on Media Mix Model program for the client account. The pilot program was launched in 2021 and is now being scaled significantly in 2022. The Global Data Operations Director will be the strategic leader helping markets understand how to derive value from the Media Mix Model learnings. Additionally, they will need to be the operational lead helping an analyst and exec efficiently and accurately consolidate data from the different local markets.   
Key responsibilities include: Lead the Global Always-On Media Mix Model (MMM) Program, working with our Operations and Data & Analytics team to take the program piloted in 4 markets and scale across the globe Key point of escalation for the exec and analyst responsible for the quarterly data collection and QA for the client and the 3rd Party MMM vendor Develop hypotheses for an MMM learning agenda, develop testing frameworks in conjunction with insight, strategy, and measurement leads Identify areas of growth for our client's effectiveness agenda to drive improved business outcomes from annual media plans (e.g. Partner with key vendors/internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for custom research, pilot/test new measurement platforms and leverage their data for planning purposes) Educate and lead the local markets how to use MMM data in day-to-day planning to ensure the markets are learning how best to use ROI data Drive and facilitate the ‘Local to Global' feedback loop with tests and learn initiatives, media tests and experiments and other media innovation within the MMM program

The Person
The role requires someone with an innate ability to interpret insights & data into actionable activations. Thinking creatively and working collaboratively with cross agency teams to drive data thinking and operations - is one of the most important parts of the job. The perfect person is a natural communicator who likes to present to and speak to clients. Our clients expect exceptional service and as such you should be passionate about this and have an approachable personality.
Required skills & experience include: 6+ years media agency experience in a Media Operations role A passion for digital media and technology and an active interest in how digital innovation is driving change Experience with planning/buying campaigns in search, programmatic, social, eComm etc. Familiar with dynamic AdTech and the role that it plays in the current landscape Always KPI and measurement oriented, knowing what metrics are appropriate for each challenge Excellent verbal & written communication skills Strong story telling skills - ability to turn digital strategies into compelling stories most often with the aid of PowerPoint Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze raw data, identify true insight and develop actionable recommendations. A good understanding of all media channels and the role they play in the media ecosystem The ability to think, act and contribute creatively as well as strategically Problem solving and trouble shooting skills with the ability to identify and escalate as necessary   The role is hybrid based, where you will be 2 days in the modern, fun and open London office space, close to great amenities and with an on-site restaurant.  The role is paying up to £75k pa for the right person, with a great benefits package included.  A role that truly offers great career development opportunities with exposure to a broad spectrum of senior contacts.
