Job DescriptionC# Software Developer- Hybrid London 2 days in office - up to £75,000Reporting to the Head of Software Development & Data Analytics, the role will involve developing custom applications and integration tools (C#, ASP.NET), supporting, maintaining, and developing the company's databases, business intelligence (SSRS, OLAP, and SSIS).This will primarily involve working on the company's time and record management system (Inprotech). Additionally, you will be required to maintain our finance and document management systems and the integrations between these systems and Inprotech as well as in-house built software.We are looking for a person willing to work with a variety of platforms and programming languages, willing to learn and adapt to changing environments, creative, and with a positive attitude to change.Experience:Strong C# programming skills,Good ASP.NET skillsStrong algorithm writing skills,Strong refactoring skills,Strong analytic skills,SQL Server certification, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) achieved,Strong T-SQL programming skills, complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning,Experience of administrating at least Microsoft Server SQL 2012 level databases,Extensive experience with SSRS,Exposure to SSIS, SSAS is preferred but not a must,Exposure to VBA e.g. Microsoft Word macros and templates,Knowledge of the Inprotech system would be beneficial but is not required,Relevant degree level qualificationKey Results Area.Maximise the effectiveness of existing Inprotech infrastructureSimplification and automation of processes and reportingDecrease response time to staff queriesEnsure resilience of DB systems' infrastructure and ensure strict adherence to disaster recovery proceduresIncrease user independence through user training and flexible reportingOther activities as required by the Information Services ManagerBenefitsSalary: Competitive salaryWorking Hours: 35 hrs per week, Monday to Friday23 days holiday pa plus bank holidays (pro-rata)Life Insurance (from start date)Company Personal Pension scheme (qualifying period three months)Holiday Trading SchemeCompetitive Flexible Benefits Package This is a brief description of the role, for the full information, simply apply to the role and I will call you to discuss.
