Location is Flexible! You can be home or office based within the UK

The Junior Data Consultant role will give you the opportunity to develop your career within a financially stable and supportive company where personal development is positively encouraged. You will be working with data from major providers including Ordnance Survey, HERE, Geoplan, , NOMIS, ONS, DCLG, Police UK, and Office for Health Improvement & Disparities. Key responsibilities include:-

Sourcing, cleansing and publishing data

Maintaining our online mapping and statistical data services

Preparing data orders for customers purchasing content through Esri UK.

Developing processes to streamline and automate our workflows

This would be a great career move if you already have some experience working within an analytical, GIS or operations position, combined with

strong analytical and problem-solving skills

excellent data manipulation and data presentation skills

excellent communication skills both written and verbal

an ability to learn quickly and to accurately follow agreed processes and procedures with minimal assistance

excellent Microsoft Excel skills or other statistical packages

It would be helpful if you had some experience in one or more of the following: UK national statistics, UK spatial data, the ArcGIS system, SQL Server/other RDBMS experience, Python/other scripting experience
