Full Stack Software Engineer London / WfH to £130k
Full Stack Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Automation) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled Software Developer with C# .Net skills and a strong belief in automating wherever possible? You could be progressing your career with continual learning and self development opportunities in a hands-on role.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will join a team responsible for building the tools used across multiple different software development teams worldwide including QA teams. You'll seek to automate wherever possible; some of the projects include a fast onboarding for developers to validate new systems and performance, reporting tools to provide transparency for Product Managers, tools and guidance for QA teams, connectivity between middleware and UI (JavaScript / TypeScript), redesign of legacy systems and support teams with maintaining their own staging environments. You'll be advocate of quality and standards, promoting the use of modern tools and processes such as BDD.
You'll be mainly using C# .Net, SQL on desktop applications but will have opportunities to learn Python, JavaScript / Typescript with thorough training within a collaborative Agile environment.
There's a remote interview and onboarding process; following this you'll be based in an award winning office space with amazing views of the City, open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet areas and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area; there's also flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
Requirements:
You have expertise with C# .Net desktop applications including WinForms and / or WPF
You have a good knowledge of SQL
You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
You're an advocate of automation and have experience of building tools / APIs to be used by other developers
Ideally you will be familiar with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript or be keen to learn new skills
You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
