Infrastructure Engineer | Linux | Remote | £45kI am working with an exciting new client who are looking to expand their team with an Infrastructure Engineer who has Linux expertise.To be successful in this role, you will need to have specialist Linux expertise when installing, upgrading and troubleshooting customer network issues. You will be responsible for VMware cluster using VSphere and the platform upgrades, maintenance, system administration, workflow development and all other work within this environment.You'll need to have some experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure etc. Being able to build effective relationships with co-workers and clients while working under pressure and adapting to their ever changing needs in a complex competitive environment will be key. Flexible working hours will be required as the role will be working in conjunction with their teams based in Australia. You will also be expected to partake in maintaining and using monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Nagios or equivalents.In return, you'll be given a salary of £45k, plus the chance to work on a fully remote basis.
