We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation, and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

Our focus is always on the future, on continuously helping our customers, on finding newer, better, and more innovative ways of serving them. That's why, if you're a strong coder with an eye for clean and artful design, this could be your opportunity to step into Cambridge and pursue your potential.

The Role

You are going to be an important part of our Omni channel team, part of our Customer Service division. You will create, support, and improve our online self-service helpdesk for our customers through AI, localisation, and messaging channels. This is your chance to make this the best-in-class system and show our customers what Cambridge has to offer.

Working across over 40 digital platforms, you can make an impact on all visual design stages from concept to final handing over to our engineering teams. Whether you are illustrating your design ideas using storyboards, process flows, or site maps, you will add your stamp to every interface element.

Consistently keeping ahead of the latest trends and implementing new ideas, this is a great opportunity to really be innovative and shape our customers "help and contact journey". Staying ahead of the curve involves constant learning, which is why we give everyone at Cambridge the support, resources, and opportunity to learn and develop new skills. Whether you want to learn a new software or brush up on a skill, we will invest in you and your potential.

About you

Superior UI skills will make you very successful in this role. Supporting customisation of the end-user experience is at the heart of everything you do, which is why you are confident with automation, logic, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

Creating new prototypes will give you a sense of pride and achievement, so you will thrive presenting these to other Developers, Product Owners and our Customer Services Leadership Team.

For a full brief of this role, check out the full job description on our website.

Benefits

In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a world-class rewards package that will help you to live well at work, and outside of it. You'll find a wide range of benefits and policies, from family-friendly incentives to a generous pension, to discounts on everyday shopping. Our benefits promote financial security, personal wellbeing and a reduced environmental impact. See a full list of benefits on our careers site.

The closing date for applications is 23 June 2022 and interviews are scheduled to take place on w/c 4 July 2022.
