Software Engineer (C#.NET)

Hereford - Remote

Exciting opportunity for a motivated C#.NET Software Engineer to join a renowned financial services company in a technical and autonomous role offering excellent benefits.

This company has been around for nearly 30 years and provide various financial services to their clients. They work in a number of sectors including Government, Housing, Debt Collection and Utilities to name a few. They are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their R&D Department.

In this role you will be responsible for analysing business requirements and supporting information to produce a system architecture document, functional specifications and other documentation for each system. You will work in an Agile development team to develop software designs and specifications based on system level requirements and in accordance with defined development procedures. You will design software meeting business requirements and perform internal R&D, testing all software components.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a C#.NET Software Developer, knowledge of scripting or interpreted languages and experience of using SQL Server or equivalent directly via management interface or software application. Any experience of Microsoft Azure platform and services and web frontend development is desirable.

The Role:

*Analyse business requirements to produce system architecture documents for each system

*Work in an Agile team to develop software designs and specs based on system requirements

*Design software meeting business requirements

*Perform internal R&D, testing all software components and E2E testing prior to testing by QA

*Fully RemoteThe Person:

*Proven experience as a C#.NET Software Developer, knowledge of scripting or interpreted languages

*Experienced using SQL Server or equivalent directly via management interface.

*Any experience with MS Azure platform and services and web frontend development is desirable

*Must be UK based
