Exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Lead to join a well-established financial services company in a highly autonomous and technical role.

This company has been around for nearly 30 years and provide various financial services to their clients. They work in a number of sectors including Government, Housing, Debt Collection and Utilities to name a few. They are currently looking for a Development Lead to join their R&D Department.

In this role you will be responsible for allocating developers to maintain and develop in-house systems as per business requirements. You will mentor the team and identify skill gaps as well as ensure the continuous professional development of direct reports. You will implement processes, methodologies and standards for Software Development and liaise with project teams to suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features.

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience coaching/mentoring junior and mid-level developers including undertaking personal development plans. You will be experienced in .NET Software Development, reviewing code and unit tests, SQL Server or Oracle, Git and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Any exposure to cloud technologies, continuous integration, API integration (SOAP, WCF, REST etc.) and internet technologies (HTTPS, C#MVC, JS, CSS etc.) is desirable.

The Role:

The Person:
*Experienced coaching junior / mid-level developers
*Proven experience in .NET Software Development, reviewing code and unit tests
*Knowledge of Git, SQL Server or Oracle and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
*Any knowledge of CI, Cloud technologies, internet technologies and API integration in desirable
*Must be UK based
