Technical Lead

Hereford - Remote

£45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Private Healthcare, Pension, Benefits, Income Protection, Life Assurance

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Lead with good knowledge of C#/.NET to join a growing financial services company in a highly technical role offering excellent company benefits.

This company has been around for nearly 30 years and provide various financial services to their clients. They work in a number of sectors including Government, Housing, Debt Collection and Utilities to name a few. They are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join their R&D Department.

In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with the Architecture team to understand the technical roadmap. You will provide technical solutions to project teams, ensure the adoption of and adherence to technical standards and processes and ensure designs are implemented in line with the recommendations. You will drive and enhance the deployment process on all environments and review unit test coverage to allow for frictionless CI/CD Deployments.

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in .NET Software Development including leading a development team. You will have experience of Cloud technologies, integration of APIs (SOAP/WCF/RestAPI/Web Service calls), SQL Server or Oracle and an understanding of internet technologies (HTTPS, Firewall, C#MVC, HTML etc.). Any knowledge on Test driven development, Key Vault, Blazor and .NET Core is desirable.

*Proven experience as a .NET Software Developer including leading a development team

*Experienced with Cloud technologies, API integration, SQL Server or Oracle

*Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTTPS, HTML, CSS, C#MVC, Firewalls etc.)

*Any knowledge on Test driven development, Key Vault, Blazor and .NET Core is desirable

*Must be UK based
