Excellent opportunity to join a growing multinational business, in a leadership role where you will lead an innovative cross functional engineering team.

On Offer Is a role where after 3-6 months of settling in, you will be allowed hybrid working.

This ambitious multinational business have seen substantial growth over the past years and are looking to capitalise on an increase in orders. They have recently acquired businesses in the Americas, however maintain an extremely strong R&D function from there Shepton Mallet site. They have fantastic staff retention and a great reputation for developing and rewarding staff to offer long term career moves.

In this role you will be leading the Mechanical Team that play a large role within the cross functional R&D team, working on the design and development of high tech products sold globally. The role will be split between leadership, mechanical design and broader mechanical engineering. The company can offer remote working options, requiring you to go into the Shepton Mallet offer twice a week as a minimum once settled in. There is a fantastic training budget for you to utlise.

The Role:

*Mechanical Engineering Team Leader

*Leading a team of 4 varied Mechanical Engineers

*Great training budget available

*Leadership, Design, BOM, Assembly planning

*Remote working, commuting to Shepton Mallet at least twice a week (Once settled in)

The Person:

*Previous experience in a similar role

*Broad Mechanical Engineering background

*Happy to commute to Shepton Mallet twice a week minimum
