As an IT Support Engineer your responsibilities will be broad and include:
Work as part of the Support team as a point of contact to receive multi-channel communications from customersAid in the growth of support service offering, ensuring that a professional approach is made when dealing with all customer requestsTake ownership of user incidents and requests and follow up the status of tickets on behalf of the user, communicating progress in a timely mannerFirstline and Secondline support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as iPhones, Laptops, PCs and PrintersTroubleshoot IT network and Infrastructure related issuesMonitor the status of customer systems, proactively taking necessary action to resolve incidents when requiredEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with the business, customer contacts and 3rd parties.Technologies and Key Knowledge
A highly motivated, self-starter, with experience working within IT supportExperience of PKI Certificates for TLS/HTTPS.Experience of Azure AdministrationExperience of fault finding and troubleshooting complex systems.Experience of Windows and Linux server administrationNetwork trouble shooting, TCP/IP and general WAN/ LAN trouble shooting including firewall configuration.Active Directory administrationMicrosoft Office 365 administration of user accounts, product licenses and Exchange Online.Experience supporting Windows 10 Pro and Mac OSX.Ability to support non-technical customers and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.Experience of using MySQL.Experience of using Microsoft PowerShellIf you think you fit the bill or would like to discuss other IT roles, I would love to speak with you.
