We are a registered charity and the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. We aim to be the voice of contemporary evidence-based psychology that improves people’s lives. We uphold the highest standards for psychological research, education and practice.   Our newly formed Data & Analytics team aims to empower us to leverage data to deliver our strategic aims. You will join us early in our data journey and will have the opportunity to shape how we go from Data Zero to Data Hero.  We are looking for a skilled Insights Analyst to join us to help transform our data into insights to identify sector trends to inform our strategy, member products and services, policy and advocacy to maximise impact, influence, growth and revenue. We have invested in our Data & Analytics capability and are growing to a team of six during 2022.  The role can be based in either our Leicester or London Office. We currently have a hybrid working policy which requires employees to work in the office for 40% of their time.  The Role In this role you will:
*Gather, analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data and evidence from internal and external sources to provide insights into our members, potential members and the contexts in which they study, train and work.
*Develop a horizon scanning framework to identify sector trends identify sector trends to inform our strategy, member products and services, policy and advocacy to maximise impact, influence, growth and revenue. Key Accountabilities
*Anticipate and proactively deliver analysis in response to wider business strategy 
*PESTLE and SWOT analyses to provide insights
*Conduct literature reviews to provide insights
*Leverage multiple sources of customer, sector, channel and competitor intelligence & insight to outline implications for income generation/growth and channel/product development opportunities
*Champion the value of insights-based culture across the wider organisation Key Skills
*The ideal candidate must have a strong background in insights, using quantitative and qualitative data analysis to deliver business value and drive strategy.
*Experience of monitoring and interpreting consumer trends
*Experiences of manipulating, analysing and visualising data
*Exceptional insight story-telling; significant experience in synthesising multiple sources to logically to tell an insight narrative, concisely signalling business opportunities & recommendations 
*A great team player, able to communicate with technical and non-technical internal and external partners.
*Proactive & enthusiastic with creative and imaginative approaches to problem solving and ability to consider new & different innovation opportunities, approaches and methods.   Top Reasons for working with us
