This role is open to considering Perm & Contract. Job Purpose and primary objectives:

In Intelligent Automation we design, build, and operate the banks Chatbots, Data Science, NLP/NLG, Robotics and a lot of in-house Digital products. Full stack NodeJS Developer are required to build and develop our variety of Digital products. Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
A strong candidate to be part of the Development team to support the . 1. To work along side SMEs in providing the Full stack support (Front end & back end support) for the Digital products supported by the Intelligent Automation team.
2. Set up the deployment pipeline
3. establish infrastructure and deployment strategies
4. Youll practice scrum in a small engineering team that sits within one of our product labs.
5. Youll build microservices with languages like Java, Node JS.
6. Youll create beautiful web apps using technology like Node.
7. Youll automate tests, builds, and all the things, then give your bots fun names.
8. Youll change how we work by discovering new tools, methods, and approaches.
9. Youll use your knowledge and experience of your product to help shape our overarching strategy.
10. Youll coach other engineers and take a lead on the teams software design. Key Skills/Knowledge:
Full stack including: Java, J2EE, Javascript frameworks (Node JS)
Microservices,
API Gateway
Jenkins, GitHub, Devops, CI/CD
Knowledge about Containers at scale: AKS/EKS, Docker, Kubernetes Experience required:
Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
Technical experience with Full stack including: Java, J2EE, (Node JS)
Experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence
Experience of using modern software development toolsets including DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery
Experience of using Jenkins, Github,
Knowledge about Containers at scale: AKS/EKS, Docker, Kubernete etc
Experiences and understanding of Microservices / service mesh, reverse proxy and API Gateways
