Cambridge - Hybrid working Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst, who enjoys working as part of a team? Are you collaborative, responsible, adaptable and innovative? As Principal Business Analyst you will provide business analysis service from ideation to delivery. Supporting the needs of your business stakeholders, you'll deliver reliable and quality analysis on a broad range of initiatives, from large scale technology transformation programmes to smaller scale business process improvements. You will play an integral part of the transformation programme, delivering for our customers and learners around the world. With a passion for business analysis and getting it right for our customers, you will be an experienced senior Business Analyst, able to consider and apply the most appropriate methodology and approach, aligned to agreed team standards and ways of working. You will ensure that outcomes delivered are fit for purpose, whilst meeting business and customer needs, and aligning to the organisation's strategic goals. As a senior member of the team, you will actively seek out and embrace new opportunities to promote the BA team's service offering and the discipline of Business Analysis, being ready to innovate and adapt, and to support your team colleagues by creating a working environment for effective, flexible and reliable analysis. What you'll be doing You'll be involved in the identification of business change, the implications and the activities needed to transition to new ways of working. By helping to ascertain the customer and the organisation goals and needs, you will contribute to the articulation and delivery of initiatives which support the business objectives. You'll cultivate a deep understanding of the needs of our customers, working closely with the Head of Business Analysis and other Principal Business Analysts, to ensure a joined up, effective service offering at all levels of the organisation. Providing advice and sound guidance in a collaborative, inclusive way that ensures all stakeholders are consulted and feel valued, you will develop, document, and communicate clear, coherent requirements in an accessible way. On major projects and programmes, you have the opportunity to take the lead analyst role, to provide a single point of analysis contact and help support your fellow analysts in their delivery. Responsible for the line management and mentoring of Business Analysts, you will enable them to achieve their best. What we're looking for A highly motivated, experienced pro-active individual who adds value, clarity and energy to contribute to the successful delivery of initiatives A strong and supportive line manager, looking to develop themselves, their reports, the team and the discipline Excellent stakeholder engagement skills Highly demonstrable business analysis experience, within at least two different roles and industries is essential. Experience within Education, Publishing or the Public Sector is desirable Broad experience across the project lifecycle, including Waterfall and agile/hybrid methodologies and from feasibility through to design and development Deep knowledge and application of industry standard tools and methodologies including BPMN, UML, gap analysis, root cause analysis, data analysis amongst others BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, or other Business Analysis qualifications is desirable The closing date for applications is Sunday 26th June 2022.
