Plant Manager (Oil & Gas- Training on Renewables) Surrey £55,000 - £57,500 + Bonus + Medical + Pension + Holidays + More Are you a confident leader with a hands-on management style from a process plant background and looking for a role that will let you take full responsibility for a Renewable Energy plant where you can leave your mark on the business? This company are one of the leading waste management companies who produce energy in their AD and composting facilities. They have been going from strength to strength since their establishment over 20 years ago and have recently undergone an internal restructuring which means they are now looking for a new Plant Manager to oversee one of their AD sites in Surrey In this role the Plant Manager will take full responsibility for the operations and maintenance activities taking place on site as well as the development of personnel, the improvement of KPIs and ensuring the plant is run in line with QHSE regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in an operations and/or maintenance management role in a process plant environment, will be well versed in applicable H&S and Environmental regulations and will have a proven track record of improving plant KPIs. This is a great opportunity for someone at the Manager or Supervisor level to take the next step up in their career by entering into a multifaceted role where you will hold a significant amount of responsibility and autonomy in your duties to leave your mark on the business. The role:* Organising, monitoring and developing all operations & maintenance activities on site* Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and initiating plant improvement projects* Financial management for site e.g. budgeting, cost controls* Liaising with 3rd parties e.g. reviewing subcontractor tenders, managing supply chain The Person:* Experience at Supervisor/Manager level for process plant operations or maintenance management* NEBOSH certificate or similar* Knowledge of the Anaerobic Digestion process, ideally for gas-to-grid plants* WAMITAB certification (advantageous)* Full UK driving license The services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
