Full Stack JavaScript Developer / JavaScript / Node / API / React / Contract / *Outside IR35* / 6-month contract / Remote

Modis are currently recruiting for an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer for an initial 6-month contract to work remotely.

The role will see you developing new product features, helping with the implementation of products on client systems (API integration etc.), and many other tasks. This position will see you working with cutting-edge tech in the exciting and rapidly developing AI and Machine Learning space and also custom client project work.

Key responsibilities:

* Requirements gathering and use case understanding and analysis

* API development using Node.JS and Express

* Front end web development with React

* Front end mobile application development with React Native (desirable)

* Creation of technical documentation for internally developed software components

* Leading the definition of best practice, design patterns, and coding standards within the development team

* Ensuring software implementations adhere to the agreed architecture and design principles

* Performing unit and integration testing of the internally developed software

Your experience:

* Experience in a full stack developer or Front End Development role

* Excellent Node.JS/JavaScript skills

* Significant experience developing APIs using NodeJS/Express/MongoDB stack

* Strong experience in React

* Working knowledge of git version control system

* Excellent working knowledge of application development on AWS

* Experience in agile development practices
