Are you an Assistant Estimator looking to join a leading contractor, working on various different projects across the UK? they are in a high growth period looking to propel their plans for further growth and success. This principal contractor offers high end new build, fit out & refurbishment services to clients nationwide. Due to their success and increased workload, they are looking for an Assistant Estimator with experience in the construction sector & someone that can meet the higher demand and take them to the next stages of success. This role provides an excellent opportunity to become an integral part in a business' ongoing success, assisting on large projects in a dynamic environment, working alongside an established and experienced team. The role:Prepare and price tenders ready to send with Estimating Manager and Director approval.Show creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractorsAssist Submission of 100% of bids and budgets by the bid deadline.Review bid requirements thoroughly and asks followup question on every bidHave a thorough understanding of the scope for specific trades assignedDevelop RFI's (Request for Information) and clarifications and ensure adequate subcontractor coverageAssist in Performing a comprehensive analysis for review in tender meeting

The person:Immediately availableGood understanding of Excel is preferable but not essential and general computer skillsTrade, higher education experience preferable but not essential training will be givenForward thinking & keen to develop
