Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £600-680 p/d

IR35: Inside IR35

Contract Length: 3 Month Contract RollingStart Date: 20th June 2022 The Role The purpose of this role is to work alongside the Head of DevOps on projects and workstreams supporting a wide range of in-house and external client systems. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and proactive team player, a confident communicator that is equally comfortable in front of clients and our internal colleagues. Vitally you will have a passion for technology, innovation, and ever evolving software design and development principles. Key Responsibilities/Knowledge & Experience: You must have extensive experience of building, operating and maintaining Linux/Windows infrastructure, with a high-degree of automation and emphasis on the following supporting skills: Linux Experience (5+ years Required) Continuous Integration tools, e.g. Jenkins Puppet/Ansible or other configuration management Public/Private Cloud based Infrastructure (AWS) Apache WWW and/or NGINX server and Tomcat Common Internet Protocols (SMTP, HTTP / HTTPS, SSH, SMTP) Source Control systems (Git) Unix shell scripting (Bash) Containerisation, e.g. Docker Orchestration engines e.g.Kubernetes MySQL system administration Jenkins Job Builder / Code As Pipeline Build tools like Maven&Gradle Puppet/Ansible or other configuration management (1++ years Required Technologies we're using on projects right now: Stash, Git, Jenkins, Jira, ConfluenceDocker, KubernetesApache WWW or NGINX server and TomcatHTML5, CSS3, Javascript (ES6+)React, Vue.js, Gulp, Node, .Net, Java/Spring/HibernateJSON based API's, OAuth2/OpenID ConnectDrupal, Jahia, AEM, SitecorePlease click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
