Based in southern Baden Württemberg this leading semiconductor provider is seeking Embedded Software Engineers - Storage to contribute to the next generation development of their memory controller firmware. The Embedded Software Engineers - Storage will be responsible for developing embedded software and firmware in C for new product development and performance optimisation. The Embedded Software Engineer - Storage will be working with a small team of highly qualified Software and Firmware Engineers helping to bring these leading products to market. Having completed your BSc or Masters, you will have gained some post graduate hands-on embedded software development experience developing software under Linux in C. You should have strong C language skills and have gained a familiarity with embedded software architecture, microprocessors and embedded software development tools. Any exposure to firmware development, Linux internals, PCIe, USB, eMMC etc. would also be beneficial. Candidates need to be already living in, and be fully authorised to work in, the EU.
