Embedded Software Engineers - ADAS Imaging are sought by this world leading automotive systems developer to be based at their R+D Centres in the Stuttgart area. The Embedded Software Engineers - ADAS imaging will be working on emerging ADAS and autonomous driving systems producing embedded software in C and C++ for imaging applications including 3D reconstruction, camera calibration and object detection. As part of a team the Embedded Software Engineers - ADAS Imaging will be working on emerging level 3 autonomous driving moving forward to level 4 in the near future. You will have an excellent technical education coupled with hands on embedded software development experience. You need experience of working at hardware / software interface and strong C and C++ skills are essential. You will have gained strong development skills within imaging, image processing or related applications and any exposure to hardware accelerators (SIMD architectures such as GPUs) would be beneficial. You will have expert knowledge in software development for ADAS / Autonomous or related applications and be happy working in an Agile, continuous integration and test-driven development environment. You need excellent English skills and some capability in German would be a benefit. Candidates need to be already working and living in the EU and be happy to relocate to the Stuttgart area.
