An exciting opportunity for a GPU Architect to join a BRAND-NEW ASIC design office in the UK. This role can be based from home, or the office in London. Our client is a recognised world-class developer of high-speed mixed signal IPs and ASIC custom solutions. They have very recently established a new UK design centre to focus on research and development of customised GPU solutions and have plans to grow this team significantly this year. A GPU Architect is required to play a leading role in the design and development of GPU hardware. This is a hugely influential, challenging role in which the GPU Architect will determine next-generation GPU architecture, and guide and lead the whole GPU hardware development process. This role will fit someone with the following:An excellent academic background, with a BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science or similar fieldA strong background in Digital ASIC Design and GPU ArchitectureA good working knowledge of computer graphics (OpenGL, DirectX etc)Detailed system level RTL design experienceGreat communication skills, and keenness to work in a small, rapidly expanding ‘start-up’ style teamExpect plenty of challenge, a fantastic motivating atmosphere working alongside some of the UK’s best GPU talent, and a market-topping salary.
