Are you a Project Manager who still loves to have technical input?Do you love the challenges of managing large, complex projects but not want to lose your knowledge of Automation & Control software?You have an opportunity here to handle long-term projects with up to multi-million pound budgets, in a company who have been going for over 30 years.You would be joining the business at the right time to see growth in your career, as thanks to their expertise they have recently become part of a billion£ turnover group.All of their projects require bespoke solutions, so there will be a good variety of work and you would be project managing talented Automation Engineers to deliver PLC, HMI and SCADA software based projects.You'll need to have some project management experience and a good knowledge of controls software, but particular qualifications like a degree or Prince 2 aren't necessary here.

You'd be joining one of the largest and best established automation systems integrators in the South West. You would be working out of their Yate office on a hybrid-working basis. 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.You'd be handling projects which offer a complete solution to fulfil the automation of any manufacturing process, completing systems of all shapes and sizes, and working across multiple industries including pharmaceutical, process industries, packaging and energy.

All of their projects require bespoke solutions, so there will be a good variety of work and you would be project managing talented Automation Engineers to deliver PLC, HMI and SCADA software based projects.You don't need to have specific project management qualifications such as Prince 2, so as long as you've got some knowledge of controls software and an understanding of project management principles then this could be the role for you.

Your responsibilities would be everything you expect as a Project Manager who will be managing the full project lifecycle from initial request to the finished handover.The projects could involve anywhere between 1-5 automation engineers and span from weeks to years. You'll definitely end up handling multi-million projects, so if you're familiar with Gantt charts and stage gate processes then all the better.And of course you'll also be involved in the planning and control of milestones, risk management, internal and external reporting, supplier management.

This position would provide a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 with 25 days holiday and 5% pension contributions by the company. Please apply for more info today.
