My client is looking for a mid-level Financial Analyst in the Stamford, CT area. This organization provides an excellent opportunity for overall fulfillment especially for individuals who enjoy working directly with cross functional business teams and the internal/external stakeholders. This is a highly-visible role in which you will be reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Strategy. Purpose of Role: This role has an area of responsibility within my clients' US Finance & Strategy team. The Financial Analyst will support development of financial models and analysis across all of the functions of the US Market, specifically around critical business information tracking and analysis. The successful candidate will have the mindset to quickly build an in-depth understanding of my clients' US business, its vision, objectives, strategies and goals, and work tirelessly to support the achievement across all functions of the business. List of Key Responsibilities: Work with the VP, Strategy & Finance to support the reporting and analysis of the company's performance against targets including monthly updates of the company scorecard and other reports Develop internal financial models for new business initiatives, and work with the cross functional teams to gather input for analysis Analyze data, monitor variances and identify trends to make recommended actions to Senior Management team to help drive profitability and strategic business decisions Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts for the various cycles. Update and submit one stream system submissions Prepare data from internal database and central Datawarehouse to develop adhoc reports and/or to be used in financial models Team SQL expert, and Tableau database administrator, SAP system superuser Skills/Experience/Qualification: Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 3-7 years financial analysis, retail industry preferred Working knowledge of SQL preferred Innate problem-solving skills and highly analytical Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis required Experience with databases such as SQL Server and analysis tools such as Tableau Strong communication skills and ability to develop business partnerships cross functionally and throughout all levels of the organization Self-starter, able to initiate and complete projects with minimal supervision Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Effective interpersonal skills with a high degree of cultural sensitivity as the job involves interaction with teams worldwide Evidenced project management and collaboration skills Excellent organizational and Time Management skills Ready to Apply?
