Business Intelligence Developer - Nigel Frank are working with a client in the retail industry to find a talented BI Developer to join their team. My client are currently undergoing rapid growth with increased investment in their data teams - they have consistently achieved double digit growth every year since first opening over 20 years ago and continue to see this success in spite of the pandemic. This role will sit within the IT team who are responsible for supporting and maintaining the companies systems and working closely with the Project and Solution teams. Being part of the centre of excellence of the company, this is a real opportunity to take control of your work, have real influence over the business and become an expert in Power BI. The role - This role will be reporting to the BI Manager and will be responsible for: Design and development of Power BI dashboardsMaintaining existing Power BI reportsDesign/development/maintenance of their Data WarehouseEnsuring the BI platform is well supportedWorking with key business stakeholders & product owners to deliver requirementsProvide training throughout the business Required skill-set- We're looking for a good mix of the below skill-set, with essential skills listed: Previous experience in BI Development roles (ideally 3 years)Strong Power BI (essential)Experience writing complex DAX measuresStrong background in SQL (essential)Understanding/experience with ETL frameworks (essential)Data warehousing experience Desirable skills: Experience across the full BI Stack - SSIS/SSRS/SSASUnderstanding of agile development principlesKnowledge of CI/CDIntegration experience - Rest/Soap API's Salary and Benefits - This role offers between £50,000 - £70,000 (DOE) Remote working opportunities - 3 days working from home, 2 days in OxfordTraining and development opportunitiesCareer progression and clear progression pathways And much more!
