Business Systems Analyst

12 Month FTC - Financial Services

up to £63,000 (pro rata) + 10% Pension + More*

Southampton and/or Home Working

As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this well-established global financial services organisation for many years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Business Systems Analyst to join on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the choice to work fully remote UK-wide, or in a hybrid Southampton based role.

Role Overview

*Support change delivery through the creation of functional and non-functional solution artefacts

*Identify, assess, capture and document requirements, specifications, and functionality

*Conduct business process and systems analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses

*Formulate and define system scope and objectives, based on end-user needs

*Continuous improvement of products / services through improved design and service provisioning

*Lead workshops with IT / 3rd Party Suppliers to evaluate and translate end-user needs into solutions

*Operate as the link between technical personnel and end-user departments

*Work with end-users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT Testing)

Experience / Skills Required

*Experience in Business Systems Analysis with Data Modelling and Design Skills

*Experience working across the SDLC / Software Development Lifecycle

*Experience working in Agile or DevOps Environments

*Ability to design and document business processes with the expectation to configure system settings, new releases and test the functionality.

*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills (managing expectations, explaining technical detail)

*Technical Knowledge cover at least one of the following.

oApplication and Data Integration Platforms

oWeb Content Management

oCRM Platforms (e.g., Salesforce)

oERP Solutions (e.g., Oracle Financials, Workday)

oSQL Server Databases

oMicrosoft Technologies

*Ideally a qualified Agile Practitioner and/or ITIL Practitioner

*Alongside a base salary up to £63k, you will receive 26 days holiday (pro rata), 10% non-contributory pension and an FTC benefits allowance (1.10% of base + £498) which can be taken as cash on top of your base, or used to purchase benefits including Healthcare, Life Assurance, and Income Protection. FTC employees are also eligible for a discretionary bonus (even if you're not with the company when the bonus is paid) - this will be pro-rata'd and is dependent on performance and is never guaranteed, bonus pay-outs can be between 10% to 25%+.
