An exciting opportunity exists for an Embedded Software Applications Engineer who is seeking an opportunity to work closely with customer development teams within this leading high-speed network connectivity systems developer. The Embedded Software Applications Engineer will be based in Dortmund (Lausanne or UK base also a possibility) working closely with both internal teams and customer development teams developing embedded software and software at bare metal level in C and C++ for high-speed network connectivity for the consumer electronics market. The Embedded Software Engineer will also be responsible for supporting customer development programmes and for evaluating emerging software requirements. You will have a successful track record combining hands-on, low-level, software development and working with customers. Your hands on technical skills will include experience developing embedded real time software in C and C++ for networking / wireless connectivity applications (or similar). You should have extensive exposure working at the software / hardware interface and any knowledge of high-speed communications bus/protocols (USB3, USB4, PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, etc.) would be advantageous. You should also be able to speak and write fluent English. Candidates must already be living in the EU and fully authorised to work in the EU (or UK).
