Application Support Engineer (Linux SQL TCP/IP) *Remote / Hybrid WfH*. Do you have a good knowledge of Linux coupled with technical support skills? You could be learning from a talented team of technologists in a relaxed software house environment where you can work from home most of the time.
As an Application Support Engineer you will provide application support for the core location based services product, used by the emergency services to find people in need of help; remote troubleshooting and problem analysis of systems deployed on to a Linux environment at client sites.
You'll proactively monitor and verify the deployed solutions' and their behaviour; liaising directly with clients and in-country partners. You will operate across the full support cycle from taking support calls from customers' technical teams via phone, email or ticketing systems; reproducing issues or bugs in local environments and creating Jira issue reports. As the role progresses you will have the opportunity to train and become a Linux Systems Administrator if desired.
Following a remote interview process you'll join colleagues in the Kingston office around once a week / fortnight with most of the time work from home.
