Business Analyst / IT Finance Systems - £450-£500 Per Day (Outside IR35) - Fully RemoteOverview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a financial services company going through an exciting period of change. We are seeking a Business Analyst with extensive experience in documenting Finance and Payments Systems within a regulated organisation. The role will be responsible for analysing and documenting these systems and processes in such a manner that other IT staff can understand and use to provide support.
The purpose of the programme is to replace and migrate in-house developed systems to Cloud-hosted Solutions and leverage the full capabilities of existing systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
To analyse and gain a deep understand the existing Finance and Payments IT Systems and Business ProcessesAnalyse and document the Data Flow and Transformation of Data of the IT SystemsDocument Standard Operating Procedures for BAU processesIdentify key operating risks within the environment, recommending mitigations for those risksCollaborate with teams across IT, 3rd Party Vendors and Business StakeholdersProduction of high-quality solution documentation and architecture diagrams
Key Skills & Experience:
10+ Years' Business Analyst experience in Financial, Insurance or other regulated organisations Systems and Business Analysis experience within transformational programmes of Finance and Payment SystemsStrong knowledge and experience of the Software Development Life Cycle and Change Management within a regulated environmentData Analysis and Development skills on MS SQL Server with supporting knowledge of T-SQL and relational data modellingExperience developing, supporting, or migrating Finance and Payment Platforms
