This new role in our organisation is a great career opportunity for someone with some experience working with Infor Sun Systems v6, Infor Sun Systems Query and Analysis v10 & Spindle Professional v6. You'll work closely with our Finance teams to provide support on all existing finance platforms and products and manage the implementation of any new systems or upgrades. You'll support ongoing testing of patches, upgrades, data recovery restoration and Business Continuity Planning and ensure that effective interfaces between different systems support integrated financial management and reporting capabilities. You'll also play an involved role in staff training to enhance user knowledge and capacity.

We expect that you'll have practical experience of supporting a finance platform running Microsoft Windows Server and that you have managed system and software upgrades using Infor Sun Systems. Your detailed technical knowledge should include: creating and assigning user profiles and system access rights; creation of hierarchies and ledgers and creating or managing interfaces with other systems.

The post holder in DDaT will be responsible for supporting all finance platforms and products, they will be working with our Finance Teams to ensure these systems deliver the needs of the Finance function Responsibilities You will maintain, support and development of our existing Finance platforms, namely SunSystems 6.2, Q&A v10, Kofax, Filestore(P2P), Spindle Document Distribution,APT payments and Infor BI Dashboards
Support the future new finance platform used by Vendor Management, SunSystems 6.4, Q&A v11, Procurement and P2P system
In conjunction with Finance colleagues, manage implementation of systems upgrades
Support testing of patches, upgrades, data recovery restoration and Business Continuity Planning
Support and maintain corporate systems including interfaces, training, access rights, data security and BAU processes such as making payments
Support SunSystems integration with Ofgem schemes across multiple environments
Maintain hierarchies within corporate systems that align to organisational structure, delegated authority, and financial reporting requirements
System/ software improvements, audits and upgrades, including changes that exploit available system functionality
