Job DescriptionThe QA is responsible for ensuring that the organisation's software development is fit for purpose, meeting both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. As an in-house QA tester you will sit within our small Microsoft Dynamics CRM development team, and you'll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial project setup and test plan creation to implementation of testing and final sign off. You'll be integral to the success of our development lifecycle.The role requires close collaboration with the key scrum team members of the team, therefore being confident in relationship building is imperative: both within the team and with other key stakeholders.
Role & ResponsibilitiesProven commercial experience of system testing.Provides confidence measurements of tests vs expected system behaviour.Responsible for running build processes & locating bugs.Creates Test plans & documentation & ensures they are maintained.Microsoft development stack experience, the ability to debug & pinpoint errors.Review tests & ensure they are kept aligned with new functionality.Creation & verification of bug fix requests.Adaptable to the working patterns of the department.Responsible for the daily run book of systems & web applications.
Skills & QualificationsAny of C#, Javascript or Delphi experience desirable.Knowledge of VCS, e.g. Git.Knowledge of Azure Devops, Jira or similar for test scripts, test plans, defect logging & resolution tracking.Resilient, professional, and pragmatically creative with a positive outlook.Learns and implements new knowledge effectively to the benefit of the department.Commercially focused with a good understanding of the role of the department within the business.Handles multiple priorities & communicates progress effectively.Communicates professionally with all members of the department.
