Infrastructure Engineer - 3rd Line - Contract

I am looking for an Infrastructure Consultant for an initial 3 Month Contract for our client based in Motherwell. This is paying £350 Per Day (Outside IR35) and will involve travel to the office, the team are in 3 days out of 5 and part of this role will be setting up IT equipment up for people returning to the office.

Ideally someone who has worked in enterprise level infrastructure operations / Datacentre environments including large, clustered Hyper-V vm workload estates.

Can configure and run OS & Application patching processes'

Can work with the client on the Workstation hardware refresh programme as they move ~ 50 staff from desktop to laptop hardware to support hybrid working model

Would be able to help the client work through the upgrades to our Microsoft System Centre platform pieces SVVMM, SCCM, SCOM

Can support the client working through upgrading from Microsoft Server 2012 R2 to 2019/22

A good working knowledge in a multi vlan and firewall segregated network environment.

Worked in commissioning & decommissioning of datacentre class server hardware.

Is happy working with end users also, as they support the return of staff to the office
