My client is a recognized leader in the Customer Experience market, and their solutions are used by more than 10,000 organizations around the globe, including over 80 percent of the Fortune 100.This is an interesting & challenging multi-dimensional role which requires a holistic view to build complex, high quality product features using the latest technologies & techniques and a CI/CD methodology. This is a fully remote position however you MUST be based in Ireland to apply.ExperienceA Senior Software engineer with high technical aptitude and experience of 5 years is essential.Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within software design and development is essential.The ability to demonstrate experience in the automation of Software testing and build systems is desirable.The ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS and associated cloud technologies is desirable.Experience in the design and programming of applications that can be deployed in a clustered environment and scaled horizontally is desirableExperience in fault-tolerant or highly available, distributed systems is desirable.Possessing strong working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within agile software development.Skills and KnowledgeStrong proficiency in Java programming is essential.Experience developing/consuming REST based web services is essential.Production experience building software with Core Spring Framework and Spring MVC is desirable.Strong proficiency in front end development technologies (React/JS, HTML, CSS) is desirable.Experience with recent JavaScript frameworks aside from React such as Vue or Angular is desirable.Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Webpack and NPM is desirable.Working knowledge of distributed source control solutions such as Git is desirable.Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems is desirable.The ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS and associated cloud technologies is desirable.
