I am currently recruiting for an experienced Design Quality Engineer to join my client in Swords on a permanent basis. The Company:Leading multinational Medical Device company with a focus on innovation and delivery of cutting edge technologies in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, laboratory diagnostics and molecular medicine, as well as digital health and enterprise services.The Package:Competitive Salary, Pension, Healthcare, Multiple Bonus Schemes, Flexitime, 25 days Annual LeaveThe Role:The Design Quality Engineer in this role will act as the Subject Matter Expert for the application of Design Controls, while also supporting the development and design change teams in accordance with regulatory requirements and procedures. This is the ideal role for an ambitious candidate who has gained some experience in Design Quality, and is looking to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities:Supporting the implementation of Quality Engineering tools for the development, transfer and maintenance of IVD Instrumentation and related software. Providing guidance for adherence to new regulatory requirements as they relate to Design Controls, Risk Management and Quality Engineering.Managing the completion of Risk Management, Design Verification, Process Validation and Design Validation for products and processes. Supporting the development of performance test methods for products and processes. Ensuring full investigation of Quality issues and the implementation of suitable corrective or preventative actionsProviding support to Supplier Quality audits in relation to Design Control elements.Participation in QMS improvement projects and provision of training in relation to elements within Design Controls. Requirements:Minimum Level 8 qualification (Bachelors Degree) in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Design Assurance in the Medical Device Industry,Team player with the ability to build strong professional relationships, and lead and influence cross functional teams to drive projects to completion.
