Data AnalystCompany:
A leading corporation is currently recruiting a Data Analyst with experience researching / developing data products utilising tools such as SQL, Excel and Access (nice to have). This is an exciting opportunity where you will regularly engage with our client's stakeholders and understand their complex data queries within the transportation industry. Our client offers remote working with occasional presence required to their offices in Maidstone, a basic salary of up to £40,000 and an excellent benefits package outlined below.
The Data Analyst will support the implementation of the Data Centre of Excellence's strategy through maintaining data standards, security and governance and participation in project and BAU processes to ensure consistency of delivery of data to end-users. The successful candidate will establish information requirements & assist stakeholders in articulating those requirements whilst undertaking a structured analysis to identify the best method and approach for delivering MI requirements and Data Accessibility.
Core Responsibilities:
You will work in a small team, researching and developing the core data products. The role requires an individual who can identify solutions to complex data scenarios; someone who is willing to handle data projects from initial research through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Job Function
Research and development of data to be included in UK core datasets
Maintain links between industry datasets and the UK core dataset
Respond to client queries
Participate and support other team member's tasks to ensure successful project delivery when required
Core Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience within a data-focused role
Demonstrable experience in using both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to an advanced level
You should have a head for problem-solving, allowing you to identify and create solutions to data-related issues
· MI / Data Accessibility experience
Desirable
Any exposure to the following would be desirable:
Motor industry datasets for example, DVLA data or Glass model data
MS SQL
