Do you have a passion and keen interest in Utilities and Infrastructure, specifically, water services?

The business, a professional services supplier across the Utilities and Infrastructure sector with offices located throughout the UK, have the vision of sustainably continuing their 20% year-on-year growth, whilst providing excellent customer service and maintaining a happy and engaged workforce. Whilst many businesses made redundancies and had to furlough staff as a result COVID-19, this business remained busy throughout and made no staff cuts due to COVID-19.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about pursuing a career in Surveying, and have experience in a Rural, Infrastructure or Commercial background. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified Land, Property, or Rural Surveyor, or be on the pathway to chartership, and be very open to learning and upskilling themselves. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Landlord and Tenant, Valuation, Agriculture, Property management, Estate Management, access and rights over land, such as experience with dealing with statutory undertakers. However, due to the on-the-job training, my client will consider qualified candidates from all backgrounds.

The Role:

*Managing schemes for Water and Utilities & Infrastructure clients such as Anglian Water; ensuring that client deadlines and objectives are met.

*Delivering land and property advice to a range of clients.

*Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

*Supporting the development of junior and graduate surveyors.

*Complete on-the-job and structured training and create/follow a personal development plan to continually upskill yourself.

*Varied role split between office, home, and site-based work.

The Person:

*Qualified Surveyor on the AssocRICS or MRICS pathway (desirable but not essential).

*Surveyor experience within a Rural, Commercial, or Utilities & Infrastructure environment.

*Experience with Landlord and Tenant, Valuation, Agriculture, Property management, Estate Management, access and rights over land, such as experience with dealing with statutory undertakers (desirable but not essential).

*Passionate about own development and learning.

*Comfortable overseeing and mentoring more junior members of staff.
