Installation Engineer (Audio Visual)

Excellent role on offer for an Audio Visual Engineer looking to join a company where you will have a direct impact on the growth and success of the business.

This role is for a growing company who offer high-end integrated audio visual solutions in Surrey. They have been rapidly expanding due to their loyal client base and are now looking for an AV installation engineer to join the team to team to help continue this growth.

In this role you will be installing and setting up residential AV and video conference systems. You will be meeting with clients and doing handovers where needed. The role will also involve running cables and mounting equipment as well as audio testing and quality checks.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of professional audio setups with a background in AV and video conferencing installations. You will have a keen interest in learning new technologies as there is the opportunity to undergo training to become a technical specialist. Computer skills are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on increased responsibility and continue to develop themselves technically.

The Role:

- Installing and setting up of residential AV and video conference systems

- Overseeing and training a junior engineers

- £30,000 - £35,000 + Progression + Training + Van + Company Benefits

The Person:

Skills you will need

- At least 1 Years' AV or Home Automation Installation experience with systems such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Networking and CCTV systems, Wi-Fi, lighting control, and multi-room audio

- Experience and proficiency with hand tools for onsite installation

- Great diagnostics skills

- A good understanding of running networks around a domestic property

- Preferably you will already be proficient in programming at least one home automation system and at least one smart lighting system

- Great verbal and written communication with clients and team members is vital

- Experience of providing on-site and remote customer service support to clients is preferred

- You must have a full UK driving licence

Plus:

- Use of a Company vehicle and fuel card

- A company laptop and phone, as well as any hand tools required.

- A company bank card will be provided for any incidental expenses.

- Systems training and certification to add to your skills
