We have an urgent requirement for an Office Administration Lead to start ASAP on an initial 3 month contract.

* The candidate will provide business support to the Finance and Business Assurance directorate.

* Take overall responsibility for managing and maintaining the Service Management support mechanisms.

* Provide administrative and meeting management support to Service Management Boards and Change Advisory Boards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Management of the Support Team and Governance for Service Management Boards, Change Advisory * Boards and Assurance Groups.

* Internal Auditing to underpin and validate effectiveness of Corporate Services and Service Management

* To assist with any assigned objectives from the Business Plan.

* Annual document reviews using designated tools for developing performance reports.

Essential Skills include:

* Achieved (or working towards) degree level or equivalent qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.

* An understanding of inter- relationships between aspects of complex IT infrastructure and service support requirements.

* Experience working in a business support type role

* Experience of facilitating professional/strategic meetings (including agenda setting, minute taking etc.)

* Interaction with managers, suppliers and contractors at all levels

* Risk management

* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders

* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across multi functional teams and organisational boundaries

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Able to manage complex workloads, multi task in complex and sensitive environments

* Competent in the use of desktop applications to support role

Desirable skills:

* Experience of business support in an NHS IT environment

* Experience of NHS budget usage

* Good knowledge of Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Internal and External Audits

* Ability to develop training material and train staff

* Knowledge of Records Management legislation and policies within the NHS
