Who we are
Defence Business Services (DBS) is a key enabling organisation within the Ministry of Defence (MOD) providing Finance, Procurement, HR and other shared services to allow our military and civilian customers to focus on meeting their core objectives.
Defence Business Services (DBS) aims to be the ‘best business services partner for the UK Defence and Security Communities' by providing critical business services that enable our customers to focus on strategic Defence priorities and maintain National Security.
The DBS Automation Garage team works with teams throughout DBS and wider Ministry of Defence to digitise DBS Services and end to end processes wherever possible, with Digital Workers augmenting the current DBS workforce. The Automation Garage delivers solutions through Robotic Process Automation and Power App solutions; and is looking to deliver new capabilities such as Chatbots and Machine learning.
We are seeking flexible, capable people who can quickly bring value to a mutually supportive team. You'll be taking on an exciting and demanding role, working alongside a wider range of areas in DBS to make a real difference for our customer. If you can see yourself contributing to the world of Defence digital and technology, the next chapter of your career may be with us.
As an RPA Developer in the Defence Business Services (DBS) Automation Garage, you will be expected to work collaboratively in small, multi-disciplinary agile scrum teams to take a Discovery Document created by the Business Analyst, and create the automation, seeing it through development testing, user acceptance testing, and supporting the live running automations.
