Information Security Officer London / WfH to £80k

Information Security Officer (CISSP CISM CISA ISO27001) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have expertise with Information Security?

You could be progressing your career in a senior role at a start-up technology company; the core product is enabling delivery / transport companies to streamline processes and deliver CO2 carbon neutral targets and is scaling rapidly.

As an Information Security Officer you will provide subject matter expertise to the business, engaging with senior stakeholders to understand complex issues and business impact whilst ensuring that high priority Risks / Issues are resolved and meet business, legislative and regulatory requirements.

This is an opportunity to take ownership and see the impact of your work; you'll be responsible for recommending and maintaining business Information Security tools, frameworks and systems as well as producing the accompanying technical documentation and operational processes. You'll be hands-on with preventing and managing security incidents, carrying out investigations, managing Vulnerability Assessment processes and ensuring systems and controls for Identity and Access Management.

You will collaborate across technology and the business on a range of Greenfield projects and will in time have the opportunity to build a team around you.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar Information Security Officer position, providing expertise to a small - medium sized business and effective risk management

You have a strong knowledge of security standards e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001

You have a good knowledge of modern cloud based software architecture

You have experience of identifying and handling internal and external security threats

You have a good knowledge of GDPR regulations

You have experience of assessing vendors and managing the selection of 3^rd party technology suppliers

Experience with security technologies, including Firewalls, WAF, IDS, IPS, AV, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, Log Analysis, DLP, MDM, PAM and MFA

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to produce relevant technical documentation and communicate with business stakeholders

You have a strong knowledge of current trends, threats and technologies; you're likely to write / subscribe to blogs, attend conferences etc.
