We have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Services Delivery Manager to join the Tech & Ops team.

UKTV Technology and Operations (T&O) team has several areas of responsibility. In collaboration with key partners, T&O deliver the core business of getting programming onto TV. They create and operate some of the solution needed for this using modern cloud native approach, and they deliver the core business systems used by the wider business.

This Service Delivery Manager role is to coordinate the delivery of these activities through collaboration with multiple stakeholders, to make sure that as a team we have dotted the i's and crossed the t's as we make deliver. That we understand risks and we have done due diligence. The role is to gather and report on performance metrics. To do this with a mentality firmly focused on optimising and continual service improvement.

The UKTV technology team are geo-graphically dispersed with bases in Leeds and the HQ in Hammersmith, London.

In this role you will get to:

Experience and contribute to the UKTV creative culture, working with a diverse and talented team, delivering innovative cloud native systems that run UKTV¿s broadcast media supply chain. Alongside the wider technology business systems that allow UKTV's userbase to function.

Help drive business transformation, be a key collaborator in defining and implementing UKTV's approach to agile delivery of software. Work with multiple suppliers across a diverse set of services as we innovate the delivery of broadcast television operations.

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about technology delivery and can help us to drive delivery at pace, by striving to continuously improve without impacting critical business activity. You are pragmatic and can work with others to influence and build consensus to deliver the desired outcome. You are diligent and detailed focused; you will measure what we do as a department and be instrumental in promoting a focus on what are we doing well, and what we can do better next time, based on data.

Who you are:

Experience in implementing, maintaining, and overseeing industry standard documentation frameworks for technology change, release and incidents (e.g. ITIL)

Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with and influence, a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders of differing skills and knowledge levels, and organisational seniority

Pragmatic, flexible attitude unfazed when things do not always run smoothly, with demonstrable experience in changing approach where necessary to still achieve the required outcome.
