We have an exciting opportunity for a Tech Ops Support to join the Tech & Ops team.
As an ambitious broadcaster UKTV is pushing the boundaries of the traditional outsourced media management model and bringing in-house the responsibility for managing our own content. Our Media Supply Chain is a hybrid cloud platform that runs services in Rackspace and AWS. This provides services to ingest, store, and export our media assets to our third-party service providers such as playout or VOD partners.
We are looking for an experienced support engineer to support our platform and teams across the technology and operations department. Day to day the role works on platform support tickets in Jira which range from troubleshooting and fixing issues, supporting the development team, carrying out sys admin tasks, configuring Jira projects and provisioning users accounts and services.
The role will also work closely with infosec to aid investigating and patching security issues and the Cloud Services Manager to support AWS tasks related to cost control and efficiencies. This is busy role and will require some multi-tasking.
