ION MarketView Platform Support & Project Specialist - Investment Banking

An experienced ION platform support specialist is required to join the Fixed Income Support team for top Tier European Bank.

The team is responsible for supporting the ION platform globally for our Fixed Income products, which include rates, credit and emerging markets. Project work features heavily within this role.

1^st priority is around BAU production support issues/user enquiries

2^nd focus is around necessary project work required by external and internal stakeholders. Mandated ECN / Exchange changes, new business requirements and up / down stream dependencies.

The role is to provide 2nd line technical support to the Fixed Income Rates & Credit support desks and downstream businesses.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Essential:- ION -MarketView, Windows/UNIX, Networks, SQL, ECN connectivity

Desirable:- Tibco RV, Bladelogic, ITRS / Geneos. Reuters, Bloomberg

BUSINESS SKILLS

Specific business skills are not essential although understanding of the electronic bond trading - market operations and business flows would be advantageous.
