INSURANCE CLAIMS HANDLEREast Sussex
£25,000 per annum
You will be joining an established business who cover a wide range of products in both motor and Niche markets General Duties:
Deal with allocated claims within FCA regulations and legislative and policy guidelines as per our delegated authority schemes. Proactively record and process claims in accordance with principles and procedures laid down and maintain files within stipulated guidelines Instruct loss adjustors and engineers as appropriate, in line within delegated authority limits Ensure all files are reserved accurately and be responsible for ensuring reserves fully reflect the level of damages on each file Process payments on claims’ files as required and in accordance with your authority Be aware of potential fraudulent claims, seek guidance and refer if necessary Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements at all times, including TCF, DPA, AML and Anti-Bribery principles Identify and effect all potential recoveries from relevant parties Maintain diary within SLA and KPIs and undertake regular file reviews to ensure effective and timely settlement of claims Deal with incoming queries from customers, insurers and other third parties Input data into the relevant office systems
Salary £25k to £30K aae 20 Days + Bank Holidays holiday and 1 additional year every year up to 5 years. Hours Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm ( 1 Saturday in 4 from 9am to 4pm)
