What You'll Be Doing In the role of an Infrastructure Engineer you will provide a deep level of technical knowledge responsible for designs, build, implementation of technical solutions to provide Business Value and Infrastructure roadmaps. Own complex production incidents and problem, collaborating with other technical teams to troubleshoot and ensure a complete resolution. Co-ordinate initiatives to deliver service improvements allocating tasks to colleagues and ensuring completion of work to agreed quality criteria and timescales. Continually assess ways of working in order to develop or revise artefacts and processes that improve team efficiency and effectiveness. A role model within the team who provides mentoring and coaching to peers and junior team members. About You Demonstrable broad expertise in their technical discipline with considerable depth in chosen specialist areas. Professional technical certification or similar would be desirable. Essential experience of working in a complex, pressurized production environment. Working in AgileDevopsSafE models would be an advantage. Financial services experience would be desirable. Experience of using the Microsoft Office products to create and manage documentation. And You Will Have KEY SKILLS Willingness and aptitude for learning new systems and gaining furthering knowledge ServiceNow JIRA Ansible Terraform Agile Have excellent Microsoft product knowledge and experience including: Windows 10 Micrcosoft 365/Office 365 mobility SCCM (Creating & troubleshooting; Packages, Programs, Task Sequences & Applications) MS Defender Bitlocker Be proficient with Azure Active Directory, including managing GPOs, and securing and configuring endpoints with group policies Be highly experienced in tools to enable effective management of the modern end user computing platform, specifically SCCM 2012 and above Have extensive experience in configuring, securing and deploying Microsoft Client Operating systems configuration (e.g. Windows 7 and 10) Have experience of being key contributor to EUC-relevant major projects (e.g. Windows 10 upgrades) Have good knowledge of Mobile Device Management technologies Have excellent Powershell skills Solarwinds enterprise monitoring Ability to work individually and within a team ITIL
Other essential information: Available for out-of-hours support, on a Call-out rota basis. Able to work under pressure. Thorough, with a good attention to detail. Deliver to agreed timescales. Flexible approach to working hours to meet own objectives and assist colleagues in meeting their objectives.
